Turns out those trendy Stanley cups could save your life. A woman in Steubenville, Ohio claims her Stanley cup kept her from getting hit by a stray bullet that was shot through her home. “POV: My Stanley Cup saves my life when there’s an [shootout] in front of my house,” wrote 22-year-old Rachel on TikTok.
She went on to say “It was a freak accident, honestly, but my fiance David and I were talking about something [then] we heard about 7 or 8 gunshots and then one really loud bang when it entered my house.” Rachel then recalled, “[A bullet] ricocheted off the Stanley, which was right in front of me, and sent it flying through my perfume into my kitchen.” She says they hid until cops came to collect the bullet and believe she may not be alive today if it weren’t for the coveted cup.
