JASON DERULO was on the CMT Music Award this year with LUKE BRYAN, and that clearly got him thinking. Someone asked him yesterday about a rumor that he's getting really into country, and maybe even doing a country ALBUM. He wouldn't confirm the album part, but he DID agree that he has "an obsession" with country, and says he'd working on a country "project." We know he's working with Hank Williams Jr. and Florida Georgia Line on the new "Monday Night Football" theme, but this sounds like something else.
He just says it's a "bigger project," and it's with another country act. But he wouldn't say who.
He DID say, quote, "I do love country music . . . I got the bug, man."
(Speaking of country and football, Carrie Underwood will be back with another personalized "Sunday Night Football" theme. There'll be a sneak preview on August 27th. Yes . . . football really is only three and a half weeks away.)

BRETT ELDRIDGE is on tomorrow's episode of "Hollywood Medium", and they released a promo clip where Tyler Henrycontacts a dead relative who was handy with cars. Brett says it was his late grandfather Shirley, and that he got chills.
LADY ANTEBELLUM posted a video on Instagram where they talk about the process behind writing their song "Home". Dave Haywood says it started when he grabbed "a little 12-string kind-of-mandolin thing" off the wall, without even knowing what it was, and just started riffing.
