Lowdown from Twangtown

The series premiere of "Real Country" at 10:00 p.m. on USA. Shania Twain, Jake Owen, and Travis Tritt serve as panelists searching for country music's next breakout act from a group of 16 solo contestants, three duos, and two bands.

Luke Combs is bringing his mom to the CMAs, and at some point during the night she WILL be meeting Chris Young. He says, quote, "My mom is just a big fan. She loves Chris Young. Like, she LOVES him." 

"When I go back to my childhood room, it's full of memorabilia of myself and then pictures of Chris Young. I wake up to him . . . it's like, Chris Young: He's right there. He's, like, watching me while I sleep, you know? 

"My mom loves him. I'll corner him in the after-party and be like, 'You're gonna talk to my mom right now!'"

5-time CMA winner and “Entertainer of the Year” nominee Luke Bryan will be kicking off the 52nd Annual CMA Awards with a performance of his new single “What Makes You Country,” however he will also be bringing a few special guests to the stage.

Kane Brown posted some "amazing" news on Twitter. His new album "Experiment" has rack up the most first day streams for a country album in the U.S.A. ever on Apple Music.
