Lowdown from Twangtown

Luke Combs cannot be stopped. His debut album "This One's for You" has been Number One on the "Billboard" Top Country Albums chart for 44 weeks. That sets a new record for a male country artist.

It tops Randy Travis's "Always and Forever", which spent 43 non-consecutive weeks at Number One back in 1987 and '88. The overall record is Shania Twain's "Come On Over", which spent 50 weeks at the top beginning in 1997.

**Luke is happily encouraging future generations of country singers too. He posted a clip of a tiny toddler standing in his kitchen ignoring a plastic spider that's on the floor . . . as he rips through a verse of "Beer Never Broke My Heart".

Don't be surprised to hear that Kane Brown is looking for a new house . . . because the one he's in now has a rattlesnake on the grounds. He posted a video of his wife Katelyn Jae totally freaking out as they watch it slither across the driveway.

Do you blame her?

After announcing his debut album, Different ‘Round Here, this past Friday, Riley Green treated fans to another surprise... He performed an unreleased gem for the very first time, Riley cautioned the fans that he might not remember all words before he dove into a performance of a brand new song titled, “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That No More.”

Unfortunately, this one won’t make the new album, but that doesn’t mean we won’t hear it again very very soon.

Riley Green’s debut album, hits shelves on September 20th.
