With Hurricane Dorian approaching the Surfside Beach mayor has declared a state of emergency implementing a 8pm curfew beginning Wednesday, September 4th. Anyone violating the curfew will be subject to arrest with essential personnel being exempt from the curfew. Along with this, anyone entering the ocean will be subject to arrest as well.
