The City of Myrtle Beach Declares Civil Emergency Ahead of Hurricane Isaias

With Hurricane Isaias approaching the South Carolina coast, the City of Myrtle Beach declared a Civil Emergency on Friday. In the release on Friday, City spokesperson Mark Kruea stated "The City of Myrtle Beach has issued the attached Civil Emergency Declaration, ahead of Hurricane Isaias’ approach this weekend and Monday. Please take all necessary precautions,"

This order is in effect until further notice. Joining Myrtle Beach, the cities of North Myrtle Beach and Conway issued States of Emergencies, as well as Horry County
