Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley reunited on the Bridgestone Arena stage in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee — and they performed a hilarious original song reflecting on their experiences as CMA Awards hosts.

Underwood and Paisley famously teamed up as a long-running duo, hosting the annual Country Music Association Awards together for about a decade, beginning in 2008. Paisley joined Underwood as a surprise guest during the Nashville stop on her “Denim & Rhinestones Tour,” in support of her latest album of the same name. They performed an acoustic rendition of a song throwing back to their hosting years, including references to the most recent hosts, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.

“No, this ain’t an awards show,” Paisley sang. “But here we are, me and you.”

“Tonight, it ain’t about who’s gonna win, and who’s gonna lose,” Underwood continued.

“But if it was, we’d both be winners, just a’singin’ and a’playin’,” Paisley declared.

“’Cause you’re funnier than Luke!” Underwood deemed, and Paisley replied, “and you’re prettier than Peyton!”

The former CMA hosts also performed a rendition of their 2011 duet, “Remind Me,” a heartache anthem that sees a couple reminiscing on the earlier days of their relationship: “Do you remember how it used to be/ We'd turn out the lights and didn't just sleep/ Remind me baby remind me/ Oh so on fire so in love/ That look in your eyes that I miss so much/ Remind me, baby remind me.”
