Morgan Wallen 'Surprised-Released' Project On One-Year Album Anniversary

Morgan Wallen marked the one-year anniversary of One Thing At A Time, his 36-track album, with more new music. The Tennessee-born singer-songwriter surprised his fans by with Abbey Road Sessions, a collection of songs he recorded in the iconic Studio Two in London on December 5, 2023, per a press release issued Sunday afternoon (March 3).

Wallen recorded new versions of some of the tracks on One Thing At A Time, including “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” “Everything I Love” and “I Wrote The Book,” among others. He also included the unreleased “Lies Lies Lies,” and his cover of “Graveyard Whistling” by Nothing But Thieves. See the track list here:

“Playing the O2 in London last fall and getting to record at Abbey Road, where so much iconic music has been made, was legendary for me and my band. We will never forget it," Wallen said in a statement. “I'm so excited to release these Abbey Road Sessions for my fans on the one-year anniversary of One Thing At A Time. They make all this possible.”

Wallen — who recently announced he’s opening a bar on the famous stretch of honky tonks on Lower Broadway in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee — is one of many country artists nominated at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, along with Kane BrownLainey WilsonLuke Combs and others. See the full list of country artists nominated here.
