Elle King will not perform this weekend per doctor’s orders, she said in a statement on her Instagram story on Wednesday afternoon (November 6).
The “High Road” artist is currently on her “Baby Daddy’s Weekend Tour,” with stops originally scheduled this weekend in Detroit, Michigan, Cleveland, Ohio, and Hammond, Indiana. King said two of those concerts will be postponed to the end of the month, and the third will be canceled.
“Hi Everyone,” King wrote. “Sadly, I am still sick and under doctors orders to stay home this weekend so that I can actually recover. The good news is that I can announce that we were able to move the Detroit, MI show to Friday 11/22 and Cleveland, OH show for Saturday 11/23 — all tickets will be good for the new dates. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to reschedule our Hammond, IN show and have to cancel. A refund is available at your point of purchase. we will work to come back to Hammond as soon as possible!
“I am so sorry to anyone I’ve let down, but this illness is kicking my a**,” King said. “I appreciate your patience and understanding as I kick its a** back!”
King’s tour is wrapping up shortly after she announced that she’s back together with her former fiancé, Dan Tooker, and that they’re expecting Baby No. 2. King shared a gender reveal on Instagram in late September to announce another baby boy on the way. Baby No. 2 joins son Lucky Levi Tooker, 3.
