Disney Channel Original Movies To Watch On Disney+

Yesterday, Disney announced some of the movies and shows that will be on the new Disney+ and the list is... extensive. There is so much to take in and so much to watch, but one thing that stood out to me is that ALL of the Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM for those in the know) will be on there. Cue the freaking out. Here are a few that you should watch, either to start off with or to watch only these so you don't waste your time on lame ones (of which there are very few).

The Thirteenth Year

I remember being incredibly disappointed when I turned thirteen and did not end up growing scales and becoming a mermaid. Unrealistic expectations, but still a fantastic movie.

Smart House

It's been so long since I've watched this movie. But the real kicker is going to be the irony when I ask Alexa to play it for me...

Quints

It always made me realize that having two younger siblings wasn't so bad when I could have five. Also we stan Kimberly J Brown (our one true Marnie from Halloweentown, yes we remember that switch).

The Luck of the Irish

I thought this guy was so cute. Apparently he also played Ian in Pretty Little Liars, which I had no clue about. He's still cute.

Cadet Kelly

Our queen, Hilary Duff, can do no wrong, ever. Don't @ me. Anything she does is an instant classic in my book.

Gotta Kick It Up!

For a long time, "si se puedes" was the only Spanish I knew.

Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-off

Dude has to choose between cooking (his passion) and playing baseball (his dad's passion). Classic storyline and had me making a mess in the kitchen for weeks. Sorry, Mom.

Stuck in the Suburbs

It had Jesse McCartney on the soundtrack, which was enough to get me on board immediately. But then you throw in the plot where they find their favorite superstar's cell phone? This is what dreams are made of.

The Cheetah Girls

I'm going to go ahead and include The Cheetah Girls and The Cheetah Girls 2, but the third one I could do without. Stop while you're ahead, Disney.

Cow Belles

Basically "The Simple Life" but make it Disney.

High School Musical

Don't ask me why I've had "Bop to the Top" stuck in my head for the last few days, but I'm going to assume it's for this moment right now.

If you have time, Disney even put together clips of the movies that are going to be on Disney+. If you have an extra three hours, it's a pretty good watch.
