Car Parked In Same Spot For Nearly 50 Years Becomes National Monument

A car that was parked in the same spot on a street in Italy for 47 years has become a local landmark and tourist attraction there, according to reports.

Back in 1974, a man named Angelo Fregolent parked his car at a newsstand he owned in the town of Conegliano - and never moved it again. Even after he retired he simply just left it there.

The car has since become a must-see for tourists who have snapped selfies with the car regularly - it even received it's own marker on Google Maps.

Apparently the car was recently moved - officials deemed that it was blocking traffic and on October 20th of this year it was moved to a motorshow to be displayed. I guess if it wasn't for all this attention it would still be there!
