Our team from Gator 107.9 was out all weekend at CCMF. We got to spend time listening to some of our favorite acts, gaining some new favorites, spending time with our listeners, and hosting lots of great artists at our Gator Party Zone thanks to Campers Inn RV. Here are a few of our favorite moments from the weekend.
The official party may not have started until Friday, but the McDonald's Kickoff Party on Thursday night didn't disappoint. The first artist to stop by our tent was Trent Tomlinson. He also joined Brett Young later in the night to sing the #1 song in country music which he helped write, "In Case You Didn't Know."
The first official day of CCMF brought even more artists not only to the Gator tent, but to our studio. Listeners got treated Friday morning to a sneak peek at Kurt Stevens' set he played later on.
Once we got to the festival, we welcomed Kennedy Fitzsimmons to the Gator tent to celebrate the release of her single and do a meet and greet with our fans.
Later in the day, after his fantastic set, we also had Lewis Brice with us signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
Lewis Brice wasn't the last artist to stop by our tent on Friday. Morgan Myles also stopped to hang out for a little while and take photos.
We also gave away many meet and greets to our fans including Parmalee and Chris Lane.
Because we're super rad people, the fun never stops. On Saturday, we hosted The Davisson Brothers at our tent and took the opportunity to get a bunch of us from the station in on the shot.
Love and Theft also stopped by the Gator Party Zone for photos with our staff and fans.
Keeping the festivities going, we had Jordan Rager hanging out for a little while on Sunday afternoon.
Runaway June also stopped by for a meet and greet. We think Amanda from Gator may take to the road with them. She fits right in, doesn't she?
Overall, we had a great weekend out at Carolina Country Music Fest. Thank you so much to the fans that came by our tent whether it was for a meet and greet or to just say hey to us. You guys are the reason we're able to do this. Until next time, CCMF.
