More and more cities along the Grand Strand are mandating that people wear masks, with more places set to discuss on Monday.
Myrtle Beach City Council met on Thursday morning and voted to enact a face-covering ordinance. This will go into place at 11:59 P.M. on Thursday, July 2nd, and will be in effect for at least 60 days.
The City of North Myrtle Beach was the first along the Grand Strand to enact a face-covering ordinance, with theirs going into effect on Thursday, July 2nd at noon.
The City of Georgetown has also voted to enact a face-covering ordinance starting Friday, July 3rd at 9 A.M.
Georgetown County Council is set to have a meeting at 2 P.M. today.
The City of Conway is set to discuss the matter on Monday, July 6th.
