Walgreens Raises Tobacco Buying Age To 21 Starting In September

A few states have already raised the age limit to 21 for buying tobacco products, now Walgreens will put this in effect to all stores starting in September. Walgreens announced on Tuesday beginning September 1 it would only sell tobacco products to customers 21 or over. The FDA had put the company 'on notice' for selling tobacco products.

Drug store competitor CVS has banned selling all tobacco products in their stores.

Do you feel this is a good step in getting young people to stop smoking?
